Who / where has the best price on wet bags? I've been comparing prices and brands so long I'm cross eyed just thinking about it and cant commit to buying. point me in the right direction!

I'm looking to buy a large hanging pail style and two med or small's for the diaper bag. TIA

Re: Wet bags?

  • Can't comment on the quality, because I haven't got them yet... but this is what I ordered...

Definitely the cheapest price I've seen, and they were recommended in a thread a couple of weeks ago.  I liked that they have two compartments, so you can store clean+dirty diapers.

  • Alvas are the cheapest.

For my hanging bag, I went quality over price.  I bought a Fuzzibunz hanging bag.  It's really nice, and I haven't had a single leak even with the zipper at the bottom.

I had the Grovia for my diaper bag, and after 2 months, it's falling apart.  I just bought another brand today, it's in the wash.  Here's my suggestions for travel - don't get a wide bag like a mini duffel.  It takes up so much room.  Get one that is shaped like a ziploc bag - holds more than enough for out and about, but doesn't require a second diaper bag for it!

Thanks for the travel suggestion! I've been wondering what would be better.

So far I've ordered 4. I order one medium Planet Wise wet/dry bags for the diaper bag/travel, and I just ordered one of those Alva ones off ebay. Then I ordered 2 larger hanging wet/dry bags off of ebay so I can hang one from the doorknob in the nursery and then switch it out when I do laundry. If the quality of the Alva one is good, then I'll probably buy a couple more. For less than $6 each with free shipping, it's hard to beat that.

Do Alva's hold up well?  I need a couple more for daycare.  We use the Kangacare ones at home and they are amazing but I don't want to drop $19 each on a 2-3 more to have a better stash for daycare.
