There is an actress I always picture as Anastasia, but idk her name. Off to google...

Just went to People's website and I'd vote Emma Stone or Mila Kunis ( though Kunis wasn't listed) for Ana.

I like Christian Bale, but the thing is, he has a really weak mouth/chin, something the character does not have. I strongly remember in Batman being really turned off by how he looked in the mask.

For Anastasia, I kept imagining Rachel McAdams.

I understand some of the leads in casting are Ryan Gosling and Natalie Portman.

It is always Edward Cullen and Bella to me (and the only thing that kept me reading - the Twilight connection), so Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart (even though she can't act). But I don't see that happening.

I couldn't agree with you more, plus I feel like Christian Bale is too old. The characters in the book are in their what? mid-20's? I feel like he's past the point of playing a role that young.

I love the idea of Ryan Gosling...but I think Rachel McAdams would be perfect for Ana...but I don't think they could go from The Notebook love story to putting things up her ass. Ya know? Maybe too big of a jump. Wink

He is yummo and she is beautiful but in a very understated way like Ana.

Thats what I was thinking! And There isn't too much of a story until you put all thee together. I don't see how book one will make a movie on its own.

Okay. So....I could not figure out who would play Christian because in my mind I picture an extremely dreamy, preppy guy and cannot place who would fit that role.

I love the Twilight Saga but do NOT want Robert Pattison or Kristen Stewart near this movie. These books are 2 totally different books/romance stories to me and I can't stand Kristen Stewart.

SO....I did a little search on what the Internet peeps are saying about actors for Christian and came across Armie Hammer. Look him up! Exactly the Christian I picture

For Anastasia: Hands down....Emma Roberts. My girlfriends and I actually discussed actors/actresses back in early March before we even knew it would possibly be made into a movie and she was the first who came to my mind!
