Monopoly with the credit card

I know the old game is outdated as far as priced go but the whole point of the game was to learn money management and counting (among other things).  I dont think this new version does that as good (never played it so I might be wrong).  I think I would rather my kids learn the old way.  What do you think?  What other games do you plan of playing with your kids when they are older?

    I agree. I said the same thing to DH the other day.....how are you supposed to know how much money you have if it is not infront of you, it's not like you get a bank statement every turn. Maybe you have to pass that little machine to the next player each turn? I don't like it at all.

    TOTALLY agree.  I too said this to DH.  How is this supposed to teach your kids money management when you are letting them use plastic.

    I think it is setting a bad example.
