Diaper Pails (Recommend yours!)

We have the Diaper Champ and it was fun while it lasted but now every time we open the thing it reeks, no matter if it's just been cleaned and Lysol'ed and is completely empty.

With another little one in diapers on the way come July, we could definitely use a new diaper pail.

    Diaper Genie Elite... works well for us!  I get the refills on Amazon Subscribe & Save, so they're a bit cheaper that way.  The pail does fill up pretty quickly now that the diapers are bigger, though!

    We have the Arm and Hammer one.  I love it and the bags are relatively cheap and sooo easy to change.

    WE started with the Arm & Hammer one and I loved how easy the bags were to replace (plus cheap in terms of the Diaper Genie Elite), plus I couldn't smell anything, even when opened and full of poopy diapers... however I hated actually using it.  Maybe ours was defective, but it was a PITA to open!  And, DH hated it even more than me.  I didn't mind pressing a button with my hand, DH thought that was annoying.

    We now have the DIaper Genie Elite and it's much easier to use.  However, I am considering throwing some baking powder in his room so I can sprinkle it occasionally, because it does smell like dirty diapers when opened.  The refills are expensive, but they're cheaper on Amazon S&S. A few weeks ago someone posted a super deal at Diapers.com for a 6 or 12 refills that ended up being $20 with shipping.  I snagged that bad boy up and won't be needing refills for a LONG time!!

    Our Diaper Genie works just fine.  We recently switched to CDs due to constant rashing, but when we did use sposies, we never had a problem with the Genie.

    This! But we just refill it using regular trash bags because the refills can get pricey.

    None.  For that reason I never got one.  I keep all the plastic bags from the grocery store and recycle.  When he has a poopie diaper it goes out immediately.  For pee I may put 2-3 in one bag then take it out.  No refills to buy, no pail to clean or purchase...Much neater. I wached my sister use the expensive pail only to have to take out the poopie diapers every time anyway!

    Well crap.  You're all killing me because I was between the DG Elite and the Arm & Hammer one.  Thank you for your opinions!
