Success after IF

PP AF(TMI), WWYD?

Geez, was that enough acronyms?

So, I am in my 4th PP cycle right now. I got my first one when CC was 7 weeks old.

They are SO heavy! Not at all like my AF pre baby. I am having to change pads like every 2-3 hours, and I am wearing overnight strength during the day! In some instances I am wearing two at one time...(in an attempt to add length, if I don't mess in front, then I mess in back, either way it is super annoying, embarassing and uncomfortable)

If I blink the wrong way I  ruin another pair of underwear... I haven't had this many accidents since I was a tweenager (and then it was because I wasn't regular yet so I didn't know when AF would come and it would surprise me.)

So my first questions is, what does this mean? Does it mean my PCOS is worse or it got better?

And secondly, should I just go back to BCP to regulate and lighten it ? ( Before I ever thought to TTC I was on BCP for ten years... who knew it was for no good reason?)

Last cycle I think I noticed what might have been EWCM, something I have never had before. But not really sure if that is related to these heavy AF I have been having.

I thought maybe it was because my body was still regulating itself after pregnancy, but itsn't 4 cycles enough time? I am actually bleeding heavier than I did for the 3 weeks after my c-section.

Thoughts?

  • Hmmm,....worth a call to your ob, I think. In the meantime, might I suggest the always super overnights? They are in a navy Blue & purple bag & you will laugh when you open one bc they are HUGE, but they are super svsorbant, extra long, have wings & all the width you could need. I love them!

  • Wish I could be more help, but I didn't experience this. However I had a close friend who did, and she described exactly what you are describing! I'd call the OB though just for peace of mind and perhaps direction. Good luck!
