Last week I arranged for my lupron to be delivered to me on Friday the 13th. The pharm calls me the night of the 12th and says my insurance company needs a per-authorization and blah blah blah...I tell them I don't need one b/c I am OOP - they don't get it of course, so on Friday things get resolved and I didn't need the form, so I lost that day of delivery. I also tell the pharm that I NEED the lupron delivered today (I knew the risk, but I had no choice) b/c I start the med tonight, I spoke to 2 people (2 different phone calls) and both assured me this would happen and would not be problem.
Jump to 1pm today - I start getting worried and I call the pharm for a tracking # and for some reason my med didn't get processed, nor did it ship. WTF???? And again, the person on the phone asked me about the stupid per-authorization form and blah blah blah. She tells me that she's sending the request to ppl higher up and they would call me asap to arrange a p/u at a local pharmacy.
After having a mild heart attack, I called my RE office and they saved the day!!!! Dh is on his way home from picking it up for me. Thank goodness everything worked out!!! But, I'm still not happy with the service I'm receiving from the pharmacy, oh and it's 5:30pm and the pharm STILL hasn't called.

5/06 -2nd baby had no heartbeat at 14 wks.
D&E - Bled out. Blood transfusions. Week in ICU - Cheated Death!
