During my first pregnancy I got a beband from Target. I never really liked it and I don't even know what I did with it. I don't want to start wearing my maternity clothes yet so I got an Ingrid and Isabel Bellaband and just got it in the mail yesterday. It is SO nice! I love it. So my suggestion is get the bellaband instead of the one at Target. HTH!

I love the one I got from Target!

What is the difference that you see though?? I also use hair ties to keep my pants up haha...(loop it around the button). That's cheaper for now. But I'd love to hear why you like the Bellaband better than the one you got at Target...

I wondered if there was a big difference in brands on those. I think I have the Target one from last time and I don't remember liking it that much. I think I need to break down and buy the Bellaband. Fortunately I had lost 17 pounds before I got pregnant, so I've been able to get by with my "bigger" jeans. I think it won't be long though before I will need the band.

I like the concept of the bands (and I'm wearing one right now) but my opinion is that they are a torture device designed by Satan lol.

I hate having the extra layers around my midsection and that the tab closure on my pants sometimes gets cought underneath making unflattering bumps and lumps.

If I'd get movtivated to hem the 5 pairs of maternity pants my friend gave me I wouldn't be in this situation lol.

I have only ever used the bella band and today is my first day wearing one with this pregnancy. I do agree that it can be annoying, but not as much as uncomfortable pants.

I never tried the Target brand ones, are they that much different than the bellaband?

The be band from target is made by the same people who make bellaband. I don't like the bands in general, but why do you like the one over the other?

Thanks for the info. I'm a Zulily member already, so I just ordered one of the bands in sand. Eeek! I'm so excited. Just a little over 7 weeks but already by pants are uncomfortable.
