I have a very long didy woven wrap. I've used it a few times but I don't get along with it super well. I also don't use it much because it's so darn long it gets all over and I can't use it in dirty parking lots like my babyhawk.
I want to give a shorter wrap a go so I can use it for back carries. I can't sell it easily where we live (Luxembourg) and I don't want to go and spend the money on a short woven here (they only sell didimos in the stores).
Would you ladies cut the woven shorter or leave it as is and get a shorter less expensive wrap online? If you think I should go for option 2 which one would you recommend (I'd like something good for warmer weather).
Re: to cut or not to cut
You can get a used didy off ebay.de for really cheap.
Also look at storchenweige and amazonas as they are on par and cheaper.
You could try to trade your wrap. Are you on thebabywearer forums? There is an international section.
Although, for many back carries you need a longer wrap.
Another option is to just grab some material from IKEA and cut it to the length you want to try then test out that length before investing in a new woven.
