Trying to not overreact

SD received an award at school tonight.  I found out from FB.  We live 10 minutes away and usually go to everything they have going on.  

I'm trying not to be pissed because this could very easily be DH'a fault, not BM's or SD's.  I check DH's phone and there are no texts from  either one about it.  He did see them both his morning, but this is something he'd usually mention to me even if he wasn't planning on going (he's sick).

Im trying to reserve judgement right now.  I haven't responded to the FB post because I want to hear what DH has to say about it first. He is in bed already so I'll have to wait until the morning.  

I really hope this is DH being a dope.

    personally, I would only be mad if SD was mad that you guys didnt go, then I would be upset at DH.  If SD could have cared less if you were there then its not a big deal to miss one thing, especially since DH is sick

    Update - We got super late notice (like 1/2 - 1 hr before).  I was out with DD, and DH didn't feel like going.  He figured by the time I got home it would be over.

    I'm glad I didn't overreact ;-)
