So my DH and I took my DS to urgernt care last wednesday because he was wheezing a little bit (he's had a cold) so the MD suggetsed a chest x-ray and it turns out he has something called bronchiolitis. He has sounds congested since birth and apparently we now know this is caused by this bronchiolitis. His MD also said that he can have this until he is 3 years old! Just wondering if anyone has any experience witht his diagnosis.
Also LO is still not sitting up without support, going to be 8 months old tomorrow. He doesnt seem to want to learn, he just wiggles himself back down to his back and then rolls away. MD suggested doing some exercises with him to aid in him sitting up to strengthen his trunk, just wondering is 8 months really late for sitting. He was born at 35 weeks and so adjusted he's almost 7 months.
Re: This weeks MD appt
Owen is 8 months (6.5 months adjusted) and he just started to sit up last week! Before that he would even fall over in the tripod sitting position. Something must have clicked with him.
We have OT and do exercises to help them to strengthen his core muscles.

Ok that makes me feel a little better, he's really small 15lb 3oz so I'm thinking that his little hips are a little too tiny to support his upper body just yet! Hopefully soon
Samuel has had a couple bouts of bronchiolitis. It's not a constant issue, but when it sprouts up, a couple of days of neb treatments get him better.
Sitting. Sam was sitting at about 5 months adjusted, so 8.5-9 months actual. Nothing I did could help until one day, he just started to sit.
