So, the weather was nice yesterday, and we thought we would go for a walk and treat Anna to some ice cream at the park. I had visions of cute family photos, a happy Anna with ice cream on her face, and a fun weekend outing. Ha!
Anna screamed "No no no!" just at the sight of the ice cream and sprinkles. She melted into a tantrum and refused to even look at it. Sigh.... Even ice cream makes her cry! So much for a fun treat on a nice afternoon. My silly girl. (at least it meant more ice cream for DH and me!)
Re: You know you have a picky eater when...
This is my DS - we got some nice photos of him cowering in the corner of his stroller, trying to get away from the ice cream. Last summer, when DD was old enough to eat the ice cream, she loved it. DS got excited to have some too - and he took a little spoonful, and promptly gagged, shivered, and made the worst face. We got that all on camera, too. Recently, we went to my sister's house, and her daughters were playing "ice cream store" - they tried to sell some pretend ice cream to DS and he looked at them like they were crazy. He said "I don't like ice cream. It is too cold for me." Some day, he will laugh about it!
Ha! Eliza, too! She knows the donut logo by heart & every time we pass one she thinks we are stopping for "tiny donuts & mummy's coffee, triple, triple." lol!
After 7 years trying to concieve, 3 failed IUIs and 2 failed IVFs, my third IVF was a success!
My Christmas baby turned into a turkey bird! Dillon Richard was born at 34 weeks, 5 days on November 28, 2009 after 10 weeks on bedrest for preeclampsia.
