What would your parents have named you? Or what other names did your parents consider naming you?
If I were a boy they would have named me Thomas. Other name contenders were Natasha and Susan.
ETA: I would ask what your name ended up being but I know a lot of bumpies are very hush hush about RL information. My name is Cynthia btw (shocker), and I'm glad that it ended up that way.
Re: if you were a boy
I was suppose to be Trevor Michael if I was a boy. There weren't any other girl name choices than the one I was given.
If I'd been a boy, my name would have been Christopher.
If I was a boy my name would have been Austin. Don't know about the middle name.
My mom also considered naming me Chantel/Shauntel (spelling?) but they settled on Nicole instead.
I would've been Phillip.
My mom said at the church where my parents got married there was an altar boy who was really sweet and polite. His name was Phillip and that's what she wanted for me.
Hey now!!!!
My name was supposed to be Sarah but my mom changed her mind at the last minute. I don't think she had a boy's name picked out.
Hah, Arnold! You would have gotten so much "what you talkin about Willis?" on the playground.
I would have been Brian. Nothing wrong with that name, but it was too popular back then. I like my relatively uncommon girls name.
BFP #2 5/27/12. EDD 2/1/13. m/c and D&C 6/21/12.
For a boy, they considered Nicholas. They also liked Joshua, but they adopted a little dog that came with the name Josh, so that went out the window.
Before settling on Sarah, they also considered Victoria (but didn't like the nn Vicky)and Amy.
Probably Nolan.
My Dad was a big huge Nolan Ryan fan. My brother's name is Ryan.
Hezikiah. Great name, but we're not Jewish (or religious in any way). And their girl choice (Jessica) was super trendy at the time.
Brandon.
Other names for girl name choices: Noelle and Holly *I was due on Christmas day, hence the "theme" names*
All three sound pretty ok to me, but I don't mind my current name either.

Had I been a boy, they would have given me my brother's name, Christopher. It was a favorite of my mother's. My dad pushed for "Clarandalynn" (yeah, that's right). It's a combo of my maternal grandmother's (Clarica), my mother's (Andrea), and my paternal grandmother's (Evelyn) names, and it started with a C, which is what my mother wanted. She obviously vetoed that so, so quick. She considered Chealsea, Brittney, and Kailey before settling on Cortney.
I changed my name when I turned 18. :P
OMG that name makes my head spin.
As for me, I'm pretty sure I would be Kevin if I was a boy. My Dad always loved the name Keith, but his older bro had a son and named him Keith lol. That kind of got to my Dad, but oh well... all he had was girls anyway
Kevin was my Dad's second favorite name I suppose.
My Mom choose to name me Kendra as a feminine form of my Dad's name (Kenneth, goes by Ken).
