Not feeling pregnant

So I'll be 15 weeks on Thursday (crazy how I can keep up with this, my husband thinks I'm 20 something weeks Huh?  ) and I don't "feel" pregnant - what gives? Maybe my bloat is less? My stomach doesn't feel as heavy, I haven't had any stretching or cramping, I was poking around on my stomach this morning and couldn't feel the lump that's normally there, just a little odd, but maybe some sort of transition?

Any thoughts?

Re: Not feeling pregnant

  • I'm in the same boat- I don't feel even remotely pregnant, but I went to the doctor's today and heard the heartbeat for the first time! Supposedly, we're just lucky that we avoid the symptoms. The kicking should start for you in the next few weeks and I'm sure that will help a lot!

  • Nothin here! I'm hoping by 18 weeks, I feel some flutters! It's nice not "feeling pregnant," but that makes me just more anxious for my next appointment.

  • It's just odd to me because I had the full blown nausea and tiredness and all that jazz up until 12 weeks. Then I started feeling better with a few off days. Now I feel pretty darn good. Guess it's time to start exercising!

  • So glad that you posted about this. I was wondering if I was just a freak of nature or something as I don't even feel pregnant anymore. I definitely symphathize with everyone else who's going through m/s and other symptoms as I know its absolutely no fun at all (really just downright miserable!!), but all of my symptoms just up and left at about 13 weeks. Definitely a bit nerve-racking to say the least!

  • I've read and been told that the 2nd trimester is so much easier than the first and now that I'm closing in on 13 weeks, I don't feel as pregnant as I once did. I really think I'm at a transition where I will start feeling better, have more energy and be able to increase my activity level.

  • I am just a day ahead of you and I feel the same way!  My bloat was gone as of yesterday and my clothes fit again, not to mentinon I am back down 3lbs this morning!  It makes me nervous too but I think that it's normal to feel "less pregnant" once we get into second tri.  I bet if we go back and read these posts when we are 30 plus weeks pregnant with our big old bellies we will laugh!Stick out tongue

  • I have easy PG. I'm 16 weeks and I wake up forgetting I'm PG! LOL!

My OB told me that PG is not a disease and I'm allowed to have a good one and feel good.

I count my blessings since this is my 4th good PG.........enjoy it!
