Still bleeding?.. frustrated

My DD is now 2 months and 2 weeks old and I am still bleeding from having her. My doctor said that it is normal and could last for a few months. With my DS it stopped around 4 weeks and then 28 days later I started back up on my regular cycle. I don't have a regular period, some days I'm bleeding some days I'm not. This makes it really hard to know if I need anything that day or not. Also makes it hard to be intimate with DH because I don't know if I am or not on some days.

Has anyone else lasted this long? When will this ever stop?

    I am 11 weeks PP and still going through the same thing. I went to my 6 week PP appiontment and got mMirena put in so I am not sure if that has anything to do with it either. I have been wearing a pad everyday since my DS was born. Pretty sick of it myself. Feeling guilty about being intimate with DH as well. Hope it gets better...for both of us.

    With DD my PP bleeding lasted 20 weeks before I got my period at 21 weeks and then went back to normal once a month periods. I had all kinds of tests done and nothing showed up so my doctor said it was just normal for my body. It sucked as I had to wear a pad every day for that entire time, never knowing if I would bleed or not. Sometimes I had a day or two off, other times a few hours and other times bled all day. I'm still bleeding this time around too, hopefully it won't be for as long. The good news is that it eventually does go away.
