We have the Evenflo Symphony 65. Love it. Plus C is huge (tall) and it still fits. I have a Toyota Echo (size of Yaris) and H drives a Nissan Murano. Most of the time, the seat is in his car, but I have no trouble getting it in and out of mine.

We have the Graco My Ride 65 and we also love it. DD loves the cup holders on the sides. She puts things in there, takes them out...etc. Keeps her busy in the car
I have a Graco My Ride 65 in my car and H has an Evenflo Symphony. The straps are easier to adjust on the Graco, but she seems more comfortable in the Evenflo. I have a Highlander and it sits awkwardly when it's level in the seat. I say go for the Evenflo.
I use the Evenflo Tribute. No problems with it except that for me, it's kind of hard to get in and out. But that may just be my issue, cus hubby has no problems. And we never take it out anyway, just that one time I had to get a rental car.
Love love love the Evenflo Symphony 65. Super easy to install - click and push! No reefing on the belt. It sits really well in my Ford Edge, but I put it in my parents' sedan last week and I had to put a towel under it because the back seat slants too much. I am guessing the Xterra has a flat seat like my Edge. The straps are easy to adjust too. The only problem is that you can't take them out (as far as I can tell) and so when your kid pukes on them it's hard to clean (I found out last week). On the other hand, the cover comes off really easy so you can throw it in the wash.

Is the Lamaze True Fit the same as the First Years True Fit? If so, that's one of the seats we have and the one I'd choose. I don't have any experience with the others.

We have the graco my ride 65 and we love it. Easy for us to install and the seat cover comes perfectly clean when I wash it, and my favorite part-cup holders

I was going to suggest this. I can't comment on the other brands but we own Britax seats and love them. I'd try amazon if you can.
I would get another britax but my dad just got us a gift card to BRU and the britax's at BRU are stupid expensive.
