SO and I want DD out of our bed before our new baby arrives in September. We also want her completely weaned of her pacifier. Would it be better to do these at the same time or paci wean first then bed transition? Or vice-versa?
Also, right now we live in a one bedroom apartment. DD's toddler bed is in our room but is mostly used for blanket storage. We are moving in June where DD will have her own room that we would like her to sleep in.
She needs me and her paci to fall asleep for naps and bed. I hold her to sleep for naps and then lay her down, for bedtime, I have to lay next to her with her head on my arm before she will fall asleep.
Sorry this got long. This might be P&R also as it's almost bedtime. TIA!
Re: Should I do these simultaneously or separate? Re: Bedsharing & paci
Thanks ladies. SO and I talked about it last night for a little bit and decided we'll wean her first then transition her when we move. DD will wake up a few times a night still and it's usually for her paci.
She is 18 months BTW. I don't think she'd have much fun picking out room decor. (Thank goodness because I never got to do my dream nursery for her, now I can!)
