Hi, everyone my baby is due in June. This message board has been helpful. I'm looking for a good book to read on BF. Does anyone have any recommendations?
I have the Essential Guide to Breastfeeding by Marianne Neifert. I just picked it up at Half- Price Books.. I liked it because the author is an MD. It isn't ALL that great though.. just okay. Good enough for the 5 bucks I paid for it and it does have some good info. Glad you are already looking into it though because I would say start reading early! Good job mama

The only one I own is "The Womanly Art of Breastfeeding". "Breastfeeding Made Simple" was pretty good, too. Get them from the library when you're pregnant and buy your favorite, or you can rely on kellymom.com if you're not a big reference book person.

Good point. Check out your public library to see if any of these books are there. That way you won't waste money on a book that doesn't make sense to you.
