and frozen pads on my girly bits for the first few days or a week. I also made sure to soak my stitches at least 10 min 2-3 x a day for the first 2 weeks.
Yes, diapers...our hospital made them, and they were divine. Pampers swaddlers NB diapers, with 3/4 C water poured in and then stuck in the freezer. Best frozen pad EVER. The hospital sent us home with a pack of swaddlers so I could make my own. Love!
Just plain ol' Tylenol. I had no stitches and only needed Tylenol once or twice a day for a couple days. My PP recovery was a breeze and I was out for 2 hour walks with DD within days.
Hoping for something similar this time around!!

Those frozen dipes are ah-may-zing. I used those, Tucks pads, nupercainal cream, prescription strength ibuprofen, and some Percoset (but the resulting constipation wasn't worth it, so I only took it once).
I had one Percocet immediately after delivery which they said was fine with BFing. I was also able to take something else in the hospital but never needed it. They kept asking but I honestly felt fine, just sore but the ice packs were amazing for that.
