UGGGG!!! (vent)

DW's cousin just announced she is preggers. Married just under two years etc.  We are both super happy for her and her husband but everytime I hear that another straight couple is pregnant ACCIDENTLY I really want to scream.  UGGGGGGGGGG!!!  Sorry about the vent but I am just frustrated!
We had three BFN in the Fall of 2011. It is back on to some baby making come June. Swim little fellas, SWIM!!!!

    Yep, I hear you too.  My world isn't so much filled with accidental pregnancies, which would be more annoying, but it's getting a bit rough to hear the purposeful ones too.  A friend of DW's just gave birth, which is exciting, but also depressing in that they announced their pregnancy just after we started TTC and we really thought we'd be announcing soon too.  Keep your head up, we'll all get through it, but vent away.  :)

    I feel your pain!  With us it's also not so much the accidental pregnancies but the deliberate ones from people who started trying well after we did.  We know two straight couples who have gotten pregnant on the first try in the last few months -- both 35yo women who figured it would take a while.  In both cases we adore these people, they will make wonderful parents, we are legitimately happy for them blah blah blah -- but DAMN it stings!  (Also -- hot sex on a tropical vacation vs. multiple dates with the dildo cam = not fair).

    I have two (straight) friends who tried for years without success and ultimately conceived via IVF.  Both recently had successful second pregnancies and have great, healthy, happy families.  When I get too frustrated I try to remember their stories, because I know they struggled much longer than I have -- and it all worked out in the end!

    Married my wife 8/2007 ~ TTC #1 since 7/2011
    9 IUIs = 9 BFNs
    IVF October 2012: 22 eggs retrieved, 17 fertilized, 5 frozen
    ET #1: 1 blast = BFP; Blighted ovum discovered at 7w5d; D&E
    FET #1: 1 blast = BFP; Missed m/c discovered at 9w5d; D&E
    Karyotyping: normal ~ RPL Testing: normal ~ Hysteroscopy: normal
    FET #2: 1 blast transferred 10/25; BFP 10/31!
    EDD 7/13/14 ~ Induced at 37w4d due to pre-eclampsia ~ Born on 6/28/14

    I totally feel you! We have had at least 5 "accidental" peregnancies since we have been ttc #2. One of them (who did not know we were ttc) was like yeah I totally do not want to be pregnant again this sucks! I think the worst though was Ann's brother and his wife called us crazy for wanting two so close together and went on and on about how they would never do that (they have a toddler 6 weeks older than Ky) and then announced their pregnancy like 2 months later.
