Did anyone do this? I feel like I've developed a really great relationship with my home birth midwife and wanted a way to thank her after LO arrives. I'm not sure what is/isn't an appropriate gift. She'll be doing our home visits after the birth so I have a little bit of time to figure out something, just not sure what that is yet. Ideas?

Re: gift for MW?
What are her interests? Mine is really interested in craniosacral therapy and wants to pursue that full-time after she stops practicing midwifery, so I might think more about getting her something relevant to that. Or, I may get her a gift card for a massage at the spa where I work and recommend some of the therapists there whose work I think she'd enjoy.

we totally forgot for #1 last yr, so for #2's birth in feb, which different MW in the same practice, i did a personalized card from shutterfly w/a pic of me and her and newborn on it (from a few mins post-birth)... the secretary said she had never taken a pic like that. i also got her a gift cert for a massage. she called and said "after the rough week i've had -- that was really nice of you."
i went online looking @ MW jewelry etc, but you just dont know their personal style.
