Incision opening after 10 weeks

Anyone experience this? My incision opened a little and bled yesterday. My sister-in-law is an RN and she said it's ok, keep it clean and dry, bandage at night. I'm just surprised this happened 2 1/2 months later.

    Mine started bleeding yesterday. Not a ton of blood- but the hole it was coming out of was O <- about that big.  I think it might have been an ingrown hair or something, but it was right on my incision. I called my OB and she said it was totally fine.

    Mine opened a week after my c section, and has been bleeding since (for about 2 weeks) the spot where it opened is very small, but the doctors say the same thing...just keep it clean and dry.  As long as it isn't foul smelling, accompanied by redness or pain i'm guessing it is fine by what they are telling me. Good Luck and I hope it clears soon!!

    Keep it dry and clean. Watch for signs of infection (redness and foul odor). The incision will eventually heal. Mine bled for 3.5 months.
