S/O Things nobody told you (P&R)

Honestly, nobody told me anything, and I never asked. I was a total FH the first time around (got pg my first cycle trying, announced to family before the stick dried, etc Confused) and didn't think anything would go wrong.

If there was anything that I didn't know before finding TB, it would be that nobody told me 2nd tri losses could happen and nobody told me how hard getting pg could be.

If anything "good" came out of my losses, it was finding you ladies here. I felt pretty prepared for both pregnancy and birth because of TTCAL, PgAL, and PAL. If I had any questions, you ladies had tons of advice and words of wisdom.

So, thank you to all of you. I really don't think I would have DD here if it were not for all your advice and support. For that alone, you ladies mean more to me than you will ever know.

    I would have been a FH if I hadn't been on BOTB for 2 years before getting pg.

    I didn't have a 2nd tri loss, but I still agree with everything you said. I seriously thought that you just got pregnant and had a baby, and never even knew the complete realm of things that could happen. I was so naive. I am thankful that I'm not anymore.

    You summed it up perfectly. 

    The first time dh and I ttc (meaning had unprotected sex at some point in my cycle), I had mentally already planned out the following Christmas, with kid in tow. Yeah, that was 5 Christmases ago.
