has any one else had this clear gunk? (maybe TMI)

Last tuesday I went to the bathroom to pee, I wiped front to back (of course) and I felt something. It was a clear thick mucusy glob & I got concerned it was the mucus plug.

I had an appointment that Friday (at 28 weeks) & told my midwife, she checked me out and said I was fine as long as I wasnt bleeding or cramping. Then yesterday I I had it happen again. (this week and last week I got it about a day after intercourse)

Has anyone else experienced this?

    Yep.  Totally normal discharge.

    I have gotten this a few times and it has only been a day or so after we've had sex.

    I've had that when I WASN"T pregnant. I suppose it's like when you aren't pg and hormonal changes cause different things to "come out." It was one thing to check when trying to get pregnant. That said, I've notice, I'm getting more of the slime,too the farther into 3rd tr I've been getting. I remember when i was on the message boards with DS, it was dubbed a "snail trial" when you found it in your underwear.

    It could be normal pregnancy discharge or part of your MP.  The MP will regenerate if that's what it is and you aren't ready to give birth.

    Sounds like cervical mucous-- with all the hormonal changes it can really ramp up.  I've been experiencing that too since the end of the 2nd tri.  On the upside, definitely don't need lube to DTD!

    Yeah I've had it too. I've actually had it since 1st trimester, i live in panty liners because it's constant (sorry if tmi). I read somewhere that it's just the atomic fluid cleaning itself out of bacteria and such. My mw said it was completely normal as well.
