I named my dolls Lisa, Amy, and Susie. I also liked Wendy. In school I thought Robin, Rachael, Summer, and Shonda were cool. In high school I loved the name Fawna- yuck now!! My how times have changed! :-)
I was pretty convinced I was going to have 2 girls and a boy. Their names were going to be Penelope, Priscilla and Calvin... Yeah, pretty sure I wouldn't name my children those names anymore!!

As a preteen: Margaret, Josephine, Lillian, Rose, Violet, Rebekah, Anne, Samantha, Theodore, Ezra Christian, Julia
14-16: Riley (Rylee, Rileigh, Ryleigh all for a girl), Ezra Christian, Exodus
16+: Isabella, Susannah, Rachel, Rebekah, Naomi, Shenandoah, Margaret, Josephine, Lillian, Rose, Violet, Ann, Annabelle, Samantha, Theodore, Ezra Christian
Yeah....I was that teenager with bad taste! There are other examples but I can't remember them. I basically wanted to take a recognizable name and make the spelling "unique." Thankfully, I outgrew it and realized a person is unique, and sometimes a name, but not a bad spelling.
Charlotte--a million times over. I thought it was the coolest, prettiest name EVAR. I even pretended it was my real name when I gave a name out online.
Now...
I still think it's a nice name, but I find the sound a little harsh. SHAR-LIT. Very abrupt. It's also gotten too popular for my taste, though it's no Sophia.
I also have a lot of memories of disliking certain names. I remember hating the names Kelly, Megan, Nikki and Jasmine... Even at age 10 I thought "Jasmine" sounded cheap.
Boy names didn't matter as much, naturally, but I did like Dean, Ryan and Caleb.
My dolls were named Erin, Ashley and Melissa. I wouldn't use those names now, but I still like them. I also remember fighting with my friends over who's Barbie got to be named Jenny.
I also liked the names Justine and Josephine when I was a preteen. Not a fan now.
I wanted to name a boy Matthew Michael after my best friend when I was little. That has since changed too as I know WAY too many guys named Matt.
I would probably still consider Joshua and Winter. But it bums me out a little that Winter is now sort of popular/trendy.

Amy was my all-time favourite name for YEARS! My favourite Barbies (of the moment) always had to be named Amy. I think it's because my parents told me that they had wanted to name me Amy but my maternal grandmother hated the name. I loved it though! I wouldn't use it now. It's too short for my liking and one of my BFF's is named Amy. It's also kind of dated. Before Amy my parents had picked out the name Melanie for a future daughter...but my aunt and uncle ended up using it before my parents had the chance.
I also remember liking the name Claudia (inspired by The Babysitter's Club books).
Happily married to my Snorkelbutt - 07/31/10

The earliest name I gave a doll/stuffed animal was Stephanie. I'm fairly certain she was named after one Stephanie Judith Tanner.
As I got older (like preteen), some names I liked included Chloe, Oriana, and Phoebe for girls, and Corey, Brock, and Austin for boys.
The names I liked in high school are pretty similar to the names I like now, except that I spent quite some time obsessed with the names Bridget and Gabriel.
Julie Paige and Jackson Leo have been my favorite names for a long time. DH has vetoed all of them, but Paige. I also wanted a double name for a girl.. Anna Claire, but that is super popular where I live.

My Cabbage Patch Kids were named Mandy and Nathan. I still LOVE Nathan to this day (but strongly dislike the nn Nate), but DH vetoed it for both of our boys

I wanted my name to change my name to Crystal lol...I wanted my daughter to be Abriella because I liked the NN Abby and not Gabby but I didn't like Abigail....Silly child. I wanted my son to be Anthony and Jeremiah I believe...not fond of any of these now of course, especially the girls names.

Matthew! However, I can never name my boy that because it is now my last name!
Married my love 6/11/11 | MMC 10/11/11 | Eliza Frances born 9/18/12 | Rhett Garland born 2/24/14
Talia, Therese and Savannah.
I still like Talia but I'm not sure I could do it.
Francesca Pearl is here! Josephine Hope is almost 3!
I liked Krysia, Shawna, Josh and Bradley.
Let's just say I don't like Krysia and Shawna anymore. I have an ex named Josh, and I know an assshole named Bradley... so my taste has changed!
ETA: oh yeah, and I wanted triplets to name them Holly, Molly and Polly hhahaha!

It varied based on age!
I've always loved Claire and Clara and defaulted to this name often.
Also liked Amanda, Mabel, Magnolia, Ginger (sigh), Christina (idolized a girl with this name).
ETA: For boys: Scott and Matthew. I was convinced they were the handsomest names ever.

Nala, Hope, Sakura (means "Cherry blossom" in Japanese), Sarina, Kimberly.
For boys I really liked Michelangelo nn Mikey, Raphael, Tommy, Ash, and Steve.
I would still use Sakura and Raphael. They're nice, legitimate names with nice meanings and that's all that matters, IMO.

Oliver, Elliott, Annie and Lucy. Still love them all!
Prople can back down on using Oliver though. Getting way too popular..arg
