Names for Eva

I like the name Eva but I don't feel like it's a full name. What names can Eva be a nickname for?

    Eva is a full name (just like Ella and Emma). If that's what you will call her, then i think that's what you should name her. FTR, my neice's name is Eva and I never thought of it as incomplete.

    Eva is a great name on it's own.  If you intend to call her Eva, name her Eva.  (It will be my daughter's name so I LOVE it.)
    Began TTC #1 in January 2011
    Confirmation and Removal of Endo - March 2012
    +#1 on 4/1/12 - m/c @ ~8w 5d
    +#2 Tx cycle 4 - 5 mg Letrozole + 75iu Follsitim & Ovidrel w/ IUI on 11/13/12 - EDD 7/23/13 
    7 week u/s revealed THREE babies, all with heartbeats.  153bpm, 148bpm, and 136bpm
    9 week u/s revealed loss of Baby B.  A and C are growing on track.  A measuring 9w1d with 172bpm and C measuring 9w0d with 179 bpm.  
    Elective sex determination u/s on 2/8 revealed... boy AND girl!

    I love the name Eva, but I want a longer name. It has nothing to do with Eva not being a good name on it's own. It's just a personal preference. Looking for suggestions for longer names..

    My friend's name is Evacuation (no joke). She goes by Eva. That would be interesting!

    I've heard Evangeline and Geneva. You could even do Genevieve. Just a thought.

    ETA: Also, Guinevere, Evelyn and Maeve (the last one being a bit of a stretch).

    Ok, but that's not what your OP says. PPs suggestions of Evangeline/a and Geneva/Geneveive are the only two that seem like legit names to be shortened to Eva IMO. A lot of the others have a short "eh" sound instead of "ee", so they wouldn't work.
