We're home!! (and a c/s scar ?)

Finally home after 10 looong days in the joint. Grant is doing so much better :) Have to go to LeBonheur to do some tests I can't even pronounce, lol, on Tuesday, and I'm just praying it's healed by then (hey, a girl can hope!) I finally have time to focus on myself for a sec and noticed a couple spots on my incision that aren't healed. Definitely not bad or infected looking, but I can see a couple tiny open areas where loops of suture have backed out. Obviously, my skin doesn't like that stuff! Anyone have this and if so, did you go back before your 6 week check-up or just watch it until then? All I need is for that to open back up!

    I'm so glad you guys are home!!  man, I hope that is the end of the drama for all of you!  I'm trying to remember what my incision looked like at 4 weeks....I had staples...I want to say that everything was just a scab or a scar by then.  Hopefully someone else could chime in with some real advice...i know its the last thing you want to do right now, but its probably worth a descriptive call to your OB's office.

    Thanks, Mousey! Starting to wish I had staples. I checked the box and they expire on 9/2013 and there are 15 of them. If you'll PM me your address, I'll get them in the mail tomorrow.

    Glad you're home and that Grant is doing better. No advice about the scar. They used glue on me. I was still in so much pain at that time I made DH keep an eye on incision. I didn't look at it for a long time.

    no advice on c/s stuff, just wanted to say that i'm glad you're home! hope the c/s incision doesn't give you trouble.

    Very happy you are all home and Grant is doing better!  I hope the tests go well on Tuesday too.  I have no idea about the scar - I had staples - but I probably would just keep a close eye this weekend and call on Monday just to check with the Dr. 

    Hope you can enjoy the weekend at home with the family!
