Has anyone else experienced sinus pain while pregnant? It started yesterday and I don't have many cold symptoms, but it is so bad. I've taken 2 extra strength Tylenol and it has done nothing for me.
Netti pot. Saves my life. Also- it might be chapped nasal passages. I had a dr tell me to put Vaseline up my nasal holes before bed (with a qtip is easiest I found) and get a humidifier.
(Depending wher you live it could be do to the change in weather). When the fronts change I get extreme sinus pressure (not a cold). Also my nose has "spread out" during the pregnancy, and I have swelled up everywhere including my face, so the pressure is even more intense.
Also take a long hot shower to see if you can "loosen" some thing up in there. That helps me.
I though I must have a sinus infection, it has been terrible... only right after a steamy shower do I feel better... netty pots are great for clearing the passages, but mine is just dry and kind of chapped so salt water doesn't seem like a good idea... I have put neosporin in before bed and that does seem to help some.
Mine have been horrible the entire pregnancy. I use Claritin and also Simply Saline. Simply Saline is my lifesaver. I am hoping all the snot goes away after I have her!
