Not to my surprise with all my negative pregnancy tests I have taken this week, I got the call that IUI #2 (my 4th procedure) did not work. I seriously don't know what to do or say. I have now in 32 years and 4 procedures later have never been pregnant for 1 day. Maybe my body cannot get pregnant, how would one know that. I am beyond devastated and broke. For the first time I don't have a next plan.
With my husband in law school there is truly NO more money, we have exhausted all measures, family, our own money, tax money etc. Truly at a loss and don't know what, if anything, to do next. At what point do you "Cut your losses" as my father so eloquently put it at Easter.

I am so sorry. IF totally sucks and it seems that those who deserve and want children more seem to have a harder time achieving this goal.
There are no words that can help you right now. Take the time you need to work through this with you DH. (((HUGS)))

Here we go again...IVF 3 is underway!
Have you given more thought to going abroad for treatments? I know we talked about that before.
I wonder the same thing myself... for those of us who things "look great" for and still don't end up pregnant it's such a challenge. Not that the alternative of a miscarriage is better, but it's hard to feel there's no progress at all. Then it's daunting to consider if you also have a miscarriage issue on top of it and getting pregnant is so tough that it's a really steep uphill climb.
This isn't really a "cut your losses" situation. I understand at some point there is a need to make peace to simply move on and "live the life that's waiting for you", but it's not going to change your want for a child and that aching it leaves.
Sorry you're going through this again. I hope you can find some peace and figure out what your next step will be.

Dx: DOR, Endo, APA+ (really high beta 2 glycoprotein antibody and high everything else tested), heterozygous MTHFR mutation, positive for lupus anticoagulant, high FSH, low AMH and both tubes blocked (per HSG on 3/8/11)
IVF #1 - long lupron (with HGH, intralipids, lovenox and BA); 4 retrieved, 3 fertilized; ET 2 blasts and 1 frozen = BFN
IVF #2 - a version of antagonist with EPP (with HGH, intralipids, lovenox and BA); 6 retrieved, 4 mature, 3 fertilized, 2 blasts and 1 frozen blast transferred on day 5 = BFN.
IVF #3 April was postponed to May, May was canceled. June/July was canceled. Had a cyst aspiration and then began IVF #3 in August. ER on 8/22; ET on 8/24 with AH. +HPT on 9/5. Beta #1 (11dpo) = 3; Beta #2 (15dpo) = 29; Beta #3 (17dpo) = 60; Beta #4 (19 dpo) = 118. Heartbeat at 6 weeks 6 days =132. Lil is here!

It's been a long journey. TTC since 9/06. multiple IUI's and IVF's and 4 m/c's. IVF#3 = BFP, twins, induced at 34w6d due to baby b passing away (no explanation). Delivered on 35w1d, Baby A - baby girl, and Baby B - baby boy, our little angel.

Thank you ladies so very much. We have decided to take off 3-4 months. Save some money and do another heavy medicated IUI. In those months also try to lose some of the weight I have gained through my 2 IVF's and 2 IUI's. My DH has 1more year of school. I have also made a phone consultation with CCRM since they specialize with DOR. We absolutely do not have the money for CCRM but thought we would at least just talk to them.
Tomorrowstarts my new diet. Wish me luck! Thanks again ladies.
