Where is LO sleeping now?

Our apartment has a bedroom upstairs & one downstairs..Eli's room is downstairs. It's hard for me to leave him downstairs by himself at night still...So he is in our room in his playpen..During the day he will nap in his crib downstairs..What about you guys??

Re: Where is LO sleeping now?

  • We have a one bedroom condo (we are in the process of buying a home) so our DS sleeps in our room in his crib. I am so excited about him having his own room soon.

  • DS was on his pnp in our room up until about a month or so ago. He starts in his crib in his room but ends up in our bed every night. I'd feel weird if he was downstairs and we upstairs, then again, I said I didn't know how I would be able to send him to his own room and those couple hours are golden to me :)
  • DD is in her crib in her room, has been since six months.  Her room is maybe ten feet from mine though.  I totally sympathize with the discomfort of having LO on a completely different floor, I'd probably be trying to find a way to keep her on the same floor us me too!

  • In her crib in her own room, which is right next to ours.

  • Lydia is in her crib in her own room and has been there since she was about 6-7 wks old. Her room is right next to ours, so I don't feel worried at all. I wouldn't like it if she were on a different level of the house either.
  • Hmmmm, I guess I may be the only one that still co-sleeps. Partly because I like to and partly because I don't want to get a good routine down and then ruin it next month on our trip. I am going to put DS in his crib when we get back though.
  • LO starts out the night in his crib and we cosleep after he wakes up to nurse (11:30 until morning)

  • DD sleeps in her crib in her room which is 2 rooms down from ours. When she wakes up usually around 5 or 6am I go into her room and bed share with her for a few more hours of sleep. We have a queen size bed in her room.

  • We are still bedsharing.  I tried to move V to her crib (room down the hall), but Ferber was a big fail for us.  I just think she's a strong-willed baby and that she's not quite ready.  I plan to move her to a toddler bed just after her birthday.

A was only in our room until she was a month old.  She was an incredibly loud sleeper.  She's slept in her room (right next to ours) since then.

    Same here.

  • DS room is across from ours, but even so we have a video baby monitor..I love it!  If he wakes in the night I can watch him to see if he really is up and running, (not literally...yet!!) or if he is just tossing and turning and I don't have to open his door to disturb him needlessly.  If I'm awake I sometimes just turn on the screen and I watch him peacefully sleep.....beautiful moments....

I would have a hard time with baby on a different floor for whole night!

  • In her room across the hall since she was 3 months.
