I'm sure many of you have already thought of this, but it worked for me today and I thought I'd share it.
There is nothing more stressful than listening to my baby crying while I'm in the car driving - or worse, stuck in traffic and can't pull over.
Tip: I switched the radio to a random frequency with no station and it was instant white noise. I cranked the volume as loud as her crying and she settled right down. I've done this twice now and it worked both times. She even fell asleep the second time.
If I can pull over somewhere safe to feed her I will, but this was a good trick to get her to settle until I could get somewhere (or home).
Any other tips for settling crying baby while driving?
Re: Tip for soothing crying baby while driving
Great tip! We will have to try that.
Also, DD has hated her carseat until I finally took out the headrest. Then she was happy as a clam and would fall asleep right away 90% of the time. So for those of you with babies that don't like their carseat--try it!
Haha - I totally just thought to myself, "Can we do that?" Derp...

HA! There are a couple Ben Folds songs that always calm DD down - I think she heard it so much when I was pregnant that it's almost like white noise to her.
