For a number of reasons, we're *contemplating* starting the fostering process this fall (before ttc/bio kids, which was never the plan before). We'd probably get licensed for 0-3 year olds, one baby/young child at a time, and not foster-to-adopt. We'd still plan to ttc, but most likely after some big decisions about timing, career/school, etc were made. My biggest concern is our little dog, who's generally good with kids, but gets very excited and needs lots of supervision around kids. I'm not sure how that would go over with the home visit.
C is a bit apprehensive, and while I'm sure that pre-training would be helpful to give her a better sense of what it all entails, but I thought I'd ask here about any advice, suggestions, words of wisdom, etc to share with her about the process.
