Yet another cancelled cycle..

Had my monitoring appointment this AM - 4 follicles on my left 13-16mm, nothing over 9mm on my right. This sucks. That was my 6th Clomid cycle so now I wait for my RE to call with our next protocol.  My phone won't let me go back up and edit, but it sucks because I have no left Fallopian tube. I think injects are next.. The cost makes me nervous.

    :(  Im sorry...Im only on my first Clomid cycle, but my biggest fear (more than BFN) is cancelling cycles...so frustrating!
    PCOS 
    Off bcp March 2011 
    Aug 2011-Feb 2012 tried to regulate cycles w/ Metformin -- no luck 
    April 2012: Clomid (50mg) + Injects + TI = BFN
    May 2012: Clomid (100mg) + Injects + TI = BFP on 6/8/12

    I'm so sorry. It stinks to take all of those meds and go through all the monitoring and then get a cycle cancelled. ((hugs))

    I'm sorry, hun. Having one tube would freakin' suck! Its like a crappy russian roulette. :(

    i'm so sorry. i know how tough it can be to have to cancel a cycle when you were mentally prepared for it.

    hopefully moving to injects will be just what you need!

    I have been in the SAME boat several times. I have PCOS and so I wasn't ovulating on my own. I'd go in time after time and end up so upset because the follies would stall. We raised my Medformin to 2000mg per day, I lost some weight, and then my doctor also put me on a bit of thyroid medication. She said my thyroid was fine, for a regular person not trying to get pregnant, but for getting pregnant it wasn't good. After that we conceived twice naturally. Unfortunately the firs time was chemical and the second ended in a missed m/c. But I am ovulating on my own now so I just thought I'd pass this along in case it sound familiar.

    Also, with the meds, get them from Canada if you're paying out of pocket. Flex spending won't cover it but it is a HUGE savings. North Drugstore.com is where I've looked. You have to plan ahead a bit because it takes 7-10 business days but it's worth it for the savings.

    I just want to say stay positive, I know it is difficult.  I gave up this cycle if you dont remember my last post I do not have a right tube and was o'ing on my right side and my left side actually picked it up this month.  It can happen, I know there is a very small chance but dont give up!

    I'm sorry:(  I also had a really crappy monitoring appointment today.  I'm on my 4th Clomid cycle and injects are probably next for me too if this doesn't work.  I am also nervous about the cost and I'm not sure how many cycles of that we would be able to afford.

    DX: PCOS/Recurrent losses/MTHFR mutation (compound hetero)
    5 hysteroscopies/2 surgical
    3 Inject IUIs = 2 m/c's and 1 BFN
    IVF #1= BFP. m/c at 7w6d. Needed 2 D&C's and scar tissue removal. Mild OHSS
    IVF #2 = BFP. Severe OHSS. 4 Drainings. TWINS!

    Bleh, Friday the 13th sucks! Sorry to hear it Shay.
    Married since 2008 | TTC #1 since 2011

    2 losses: Nov '11 and Aug '12
    Dx: Feb '13 - HSG shows clear tubes but minor diverticulitis; Borderline DOR; Low DHEA and low testosterone.
    Moving on to IUI or IVF.

    3.4.13:  Holy crap! Surprise natural BFP on cycle #19. EDD 11.12.13
    We've got a peen.....it's a boy!

    Shay, I am so sorry. I only have one tube as well, and I have been cancelled due to follies being on the wrong side as well, I know how heartbreaking it is.

    I want to say though, that injects has definitely helped me as far as that goes. I have more follies, and usually on the correct side. The side without the tube, for whatever reason, always seems to have 0-1 follies during my injects cycle. I think that would be a good way to go for you.

    I still know how much cancelled cycles suck, so go and do something nice for yourself! ((hugs))
