So...I've had some weird feelings/symptoms for a while now. I wish I could pinpoint when they started exactly, but I'm not sure. I have to wonder if its all caused by progesterone supplementation, so I figured I would ask you guys if you've had this issue/feelings.
I feel like I'm in a fog. Tired all the time. Hard to focus on anything. Disinterest in most things. Sometimes, while driving, I literally zone out and its an effort to keep my eyes focused on the road. (and I know this one is tied to when I got my bfp with my m/c, but its not going away, so I figured i'd throw it out too... but I'm having lots of dizziness issues. I can't squat or kneel down for even 3 seconds and not feel like I'm going to pass out when I stand up. Its not occasional, its every single time. And I often feel dizzy just sitting at my desk, working on the computer.)
Any thoughts? Some sort of vitamin deficiency? Depression? (I don't feel super sad or anything, but some of those symptoms sound like depression when I write them out). Side effect of the progesterone?
Its driving me crazy..I hate feeling like this. I guess I should call my doc, but if its common progesterone crap....
Re: Nervous - what do you think this could be?
I never took progesterone supplements so I have no idea about that...but it very much sounds like you could have a vitamin deficiency OR depression. I would go get some bloodwork for sure. Driving like that is not good my friend!!
My friend was B12 deficient and had several of those symptoms.
This is also what I was thinking. I didn't even realize I had a B deficiency until I started taking a medicine that was part B6/B12 for another reason, and felt so much better!
How scary for you, hope you figure it out and feel better quickly!
Because we're fancy like that.
My guess would be low vitamin D and/or B. The dizziness sounds like low blood sugar maybe?. I get anemic sometimes and feel weak and dizzy so maybe your iron is low? I would call your Dr. and have them do some bloodwork. I just had b/w done and I have low Vitamin D and I'm super tired all the time. I hope you feel better soon!

I would have your iron levels and your thyroid checked.
Yep, this makes sense, too. When my B levels were most jacked up, I was also very anemic.
GL Mousey!
Another vote for checking your blood pressure.
Sounds a lot like what I experienced with low blood pressure.
How's your water intake?
Total score: 6 pregnancies, 5 losses, 2 amazing blessings that I'm thankful for every single day.
So sorry you don't feel 100% and I'm sure frusterrating not knowing why.
I was going to suggest to get your thyroid checked too. Those symptoms sounds similar to my sisters when it was discovered that her thyroid wasn't regulating as it should.
I hope you get some answers soon!
My blood pressur e always runs on the low side, but I just looked up my last 3 doc appts and it was 120/80 for two of them and 98/61 for the other.
I drink a fair amount of caffeine throughout the day (because I feel so sleepy/sluggish) and I have at least 3 huge things of water a day.
Ok, since no one seemed to subscribe to my progesterone theory, I just scheduled an appt to talk to my doc about having all of my levels tested. Thanks ladies!

That is EXACTLY how I felt when I was weaning Caroline. You described my symptoms to a 'T'.
It has to be a hormonal thing...thankfully, it passed pretty quickly.
(((Hugs))) I remember that vividly, and it wasn't fun at ALL.
I am on a fairly high dose of progesterone right now and I could copy your post. I am definitely foggy in my thinking and I am unmotivated (and that would be putting it mildly). I easily get dizzy but I have been attributing mine to my pregnancy but I also tend to have average to low blood pressure.
Definitely start taking some extra B vitamins and also vitamin D. My ob/gyn recommened at least 2,000 of vitamin D per day.
I also think that although you may not be clinically depressed, all of us fall into funks and we just keep pushing forward until we break free of it.
Kelly, Mom to Christopher Shannon 9.27.06, Catherine Quinn 2.24.09, Trey Barton lost on 12.28.09, Therese Barton lost on 6.10.10, Joseph Sullivan 7.23.11, and our latest, Victoria Maren 11.15.12
Secondary infertility success with IVF, then two losses, one at 14 weeks and one at 10 weeks, then success with IUI and then just pure, crazy luck. Expecting our fifth in May as the result of a FET.

I think that's the right answer - so many things that it could be! Of course, I think thyroid because my OB flagged my TSH level and I have just spent a lot of time with an endocrinologist, but my experience is clouding my advice here. Better to have someone look at everything for you!

Progesterone made me EXHAUSTED. Also depressed. For like 2 years. Good times....
So it is possible that it's that.
