I want a kitten, come on dh!

Both of my best friends cats just had kittens and I want one so bad! She was going to get them fixed when her tax refund came in,but spring came early this year and there must be a frisky daddy cat around. She has 12 and they are every color imaginable. I want a grey tiger stripe, but DH says no :( we are moving so I see his point. But DD needs a kitty :)

    aww! can you have your friend take care of it until youre moved?  we just got a puppy so dd could grow up with a dog like we did.

    I don't see why moving is deterring you from getting a kitten? Can the kitten not come with you to the new place? Cats are so low maintenance. I think you should totally go for it!

    Make a deal with hubby. No kitten now, but as soon as you move to the new place you go to the shelter and get a kitten there? That way you're not trying to either drive or fly with a cat in the car.

    I moved with a cat.  I put him in a harness leash and had his litter box accessable in the back seat along with food and water dishes.  Totally doable.  My cat just slept the whole time.  Moving with a cat is easier than with a dog because you don't have to worry about walking a cat.

    Ditto !! We moved 18 hours away with 3 cars and a dog and it worked fine no problems and because of circumstances beyond our control 3 months later we did it again. The animals were great both ways in the cars
