Can you tell me your experience with CD12 U/S before you do IUI?
I did my first round of IUI in March. I had a baseline U/S on CD3 and the follow-up one on CD10 (I know it was a bit early). Everything was good from CD3 baseline, so he had me started with Femera. For CD10, my RE counted the number of follies and diameters, but he didn't write it down or anything. I don't recall hearing anything about my lining.
Does your RE generally give you a written doc (# of follies, size, lining, etc) after your U/S? You just remember the info? I am aware that Cromid can thin lining. Do you think my RE didn't tell me about my lining because I was on Femera and it was ok?
To me, IUI #1 was experimental, but I would like to be more prepared and educated for the coming up IUIs! TIA

Re: Questions abt CD12 U/S before IUI
No I don't get anything. My u/s tech tels me # of follies and sizes. I get blood drawn and they call me in the afternoon.
I can usually tell what is going to happen (go back for repeat/trigger) based on follies size given.
I ask a ton of questions at each appointment so I know what's going on. Also, the results of my ultrasounds and bloodwork are all available the same day on my online Patient Portal.
I think next time I would ask for exact measurements just so you know where you stand.

I triggered on CD13 and had my IUI on CD15. I didn't go back for an additional U/S. IUI #1 was more like "Wing it!" for me.
I learned that the timing can be tricky and I was worried if I was going to O before IUI because my OPK became positive before the trigger shot.

Do they always take a blood sample from you on CD12? I have read some girls proving a blood sample, but is this a standard b4 IUI? Or is this required for some people with injectable cycle, lower progesterone, etc?

I gave blood at my baseline ultrasound and both of my monitoring appointments. I was on Clomid, not injectables. No known progesterone issues. I was a little suprised they didn't do an ultrasound or take blood on the actual day of my IUI but when I asked they said it wasn't needed because I had been in hte previous day. Not sure if it's normal or not.
