Gift help please

Hi,

I normally post on April 2012 Moms, but I have a question and I was hoping you ladies could help.

DH's cousin was put on bed rest in the hospital on Sunday, and ended up having her son on Tuesday.  He is about 13 weeks early, so he has a long road ahead in the NICU, but the prognosis is good.

I had planned to send a little gift of things for her to do while on bed rest, but now I would like to send something to help in their current situation.  I am guessing they will spend a lot of time at the hospital, so would a gift card to a restaurant that delivers be appropriate? Or is there something else/better we could send?

    Its so thoughtful of you send her a package! She will love getting it from you. My DD was born at 27 weeks and just turned one. She is a healthy, happy, busy little girl today.

    A gift card for food would be awesome. For some other ideas on how to support her, check out the link in my siggy for the blog our board members write. There are lots of ideas and suggestions on the "What can I do for my friend?" tab.

    Also feel free to point your friend to the blog or this board when she is ready. We are a very supportive group. If you have questions about her LO's journey, feel free to ask too.

    Thank you! Unfortunately, they are OOS, so that limits what we can do, but the list is awesome! We can definitely find some items to send.

    A gift card for a restaurant that delivers or a company that delivers good prepared dinners (frozen) is a great idea.  Depending on what you want to spend, paying for a one time visit from a cleaning service would also be great.
