... and now we wait. :)

I've posted over here a few times and hope to post here more. As of today, our homestudy is completed, all paperwork, fingerprints, background checks, have been turned in, our portfolio is in the hands of our agent and we are waiting. (I feel like leaping around the house yelling *TA-DA!*)

I just know that this will be the hard part for me (I can do paperwork all. day. long. if need be, but patience is not my best virtue), but I just keep reminding myself that God has our birthmother and our baby picked out and she will choose us when she's supposed to- no sooner, no later.

I've enjoyed reading y'all's posts and a few of your blogs and I hope this can become a place for me to "hang out".

    GL I hope your wait is short! I know the feeling about paperwork vs. waiting- when I am doing paperwork i feel like I am accomplishing something, stepping in the right direction... waiting is just... waiting! Nothing productive there, it's not getting me any closer... Anyhow, I try to tell myself the same thing; that the child who is meant for me will find their way to me exactly how and when its time and not a moment sooner... GL!

    Good luck! I hope your wait is short! I understand about the patience thing, I am the same way... lol but you're right, God has control over this and it will happen as it is supposed to :)

    I can only imagine the excitement.. but I can foresee myself jumping around the house too...lol.  GL!  I hope your wait is short and sweet.
    Me: 32, DH: 45... TTC #1 since May 2010
    July - Nov 2011: Testing with OB... OB said everything looks good
    March - Sept 2012: Moved to RE.. 4 treatment cycles - responses of one or no follicles
    09.03.12: Diagnosed Poor Ovarian Response.. DE IVF only option
    Feb - Nov 2012: Pursued Adoption. That door slammed shut.
    12.23.12: Surprise BFP (first ever)... 12.25 - 12.31: Natural M/C
