My girls are here!! Birth Story
Well Tuesday morning at 5:30 a.m. got up to pee again,and my water broke in the bathroom. Just a little trickle so wasn't sure if it was my water breaking or not. We got ready and headed in. They didn't even check to see if it was my water breaking just got me checked in for c-section because babies kept flipping positions and one of them was transverse that day. At 9:34 a.m. Aria Nicole was born weighing 6lb 14oz and 18 1/2 inches long. 30 seconds later at 9:34 Arilyn Elaine was born weighing 6lb 7oz and 18 inches long. They both were screaming and scored 8 and 9's on the apgar scale. They went straight to recovery with me and to my room afterwards.
They are beautiful and everyone keeps asking how we will tell them apart because they look so much a like...well my hormones have kicked in and I'm sick of this question and respond with well they are identical,,,ugh being here has been overwhelming, frustrating and so many emotions. I have hit an emotional wall and hope it clears soon. Student nurses don't help at all! I'm pumping and did well the first and 2nd time but since haven't pumped a single drop! Adding to my emotional mess. Luckily my husband has been amazing and cheering me on. Pain is pretty intense but not too bad. I itched like crazy the first 36 hours until Benedryl finally helped, that has beent he worst part of recovery so far!
Babies and I will be going home tomorrow, unless I feel like staying till Saturday. Not sure yet about that, don't know if going home will help and make my hormonal self betteror worse. I'll post pics when I figure out how.

The hormones totally screwed with me postpartum; I was a total emotional mess the first two months and especially the first couple of weeks. Hang in there!
That's so wonderful! Congrats on growing big healthy babies!
Congrats! I hope you feel better soon, those hormones can make you nutty!

Feb/March 2011 IVF #3 ER 3/9 9 eggs, 7 fertilized, ET 3/14, No frosties. BFN
IVF #4 ER 8/22 9R,7F ET 8/25-3 embies, 1 frostie! Beta 9/2= 54, 9/6=274, 9/8=625, 9/12=2953, 9/16 greater than 10,000. B/G TWINS born April 2012 @ 36wks & 1 day!
July 2014-going back for the frozen embryo! ET 7/28, heartbeat seen at 6wks1day with SCH. Miscarriage confirmed at 6wks4days

Congrats! Stay that extra night and let the babies sleep in the nursery. You'll be glad you got at least a semi-good nights sleep before the regular wake up sessions at night.
