Accupuncture for RPL

Has anyone tried this or had success? My nurse just mentioned to it to me...she said it's not been proven but she was 3 friends who suffer from miscarriages and 2 of them were successful after the starting it.

I have only had one loss, but am doing acupuncture and I love it. I find it has helped in so many other areas of my life too.

I have not yet tried acupuncture, but I asked my RE about it, and he said there's nothing concrete out there that it prevents m/c, but that studies have shown that it helps with infertility. He did say that it couldn't hurt though. I want to try it.

If your losses were caused by hormonal imbalances then it's highly possible acupuncture could help. There's really not much it can do if you have clotting, geenetic or immunology issues though.

That being said, i see an acupuncturist and I love it - she has specialized in miscarriages and to me she is my biggest advocate in pushing me which tests to try and key in on. She's helping me regulate my hormones after my losses, and offers great suggestions on what to talk with my doctor about. Acupuncture has also greatly helped me deal with the stress and depression that my losses have caused, and that alone has been an invaluable help.

im going IVF with multiple losses... but im thinking about doing it the day of my transfer
