2nd monitoring appt for IUI

I went in for my 2nd bloodwork and u/s.  They found one follie to be near 14.5 and several others around 8-12.  My lining is at 8.  The Dr. told me to come back tomorrow for another u/s and BW.  Im hoping these numbers are good but have nothing to compare it to as this is my first IUI cycle.  Any ladies know what numbers for follies and lining are good?

    A mature follicle is anything over 18mm. Follicles grow at a rate of 1-2mm per day usually. So it will probably be a few days before your IUI. Are you going to do a trigger shot? That will help the follicle to finish maturing and will also help with accurate timing for your IUI. Good luck!

    At my first midcycle monitoring appointment I had a 15mm follicle and two 6mm follicles.  My lining was 6.5.  They told me to come in three days later and when I did the two 6s were gone but I had an 18mm follicle and the 15mm one had grown to 19.5.  My lining was 9.5.  I took the trigger at that appointment and my IUI was the next day.  Good luck!

    This.  Tomorrow your 14.5 will most likely be 16mm.  You should be ready to trigger on Saturday and have IUI on Monday.  But if they are a little slower, then they might have you come in over the weekend for monitoring and IUI on Tuesday.  

    As for lining, 8mm is perfect.  Anything over 6 is good enough for implantation, but 8mm is recommended at cd12.  It also grows about 1mm per day so it will be fluffy enough when the time comes since you're already where they like to see it.
