The neighbors think I'm tourturing him!

Sorry to be a post hog around here but I need some insight. For the past couple days DS has been crying like he's being murdered. He's been with a cold (no symptom other than a runny nose) but it's been over a week and the crying only for a couple days. I wonder if he is teething or something hurts because he is otherwise fine and suddenly he screams and boy is it loud and dramatic! He threw a fit while shopping today, he doesn't want to be put down or left alone or put on the changing table but the weird thing is he is not crabby all day, he's laughing and playing then all of a sudden out of no where he'll cry and if being held he'll throw himself back arms flailing and all!  :/

P.S sorry for the format, on my phone and with a screaming kid in the back seat. DH is driving, don't worry!

    Probably teeth..maybe some separation anxiety mixed in? These kids are tough to fiure out some times! Phone post

    I'm going with teeth.  LO had three teeth come in the same week and he was doing the same thing.  Ride it out....it will get better soon (that's what I keep telling myself).

    maybe if hes teething, you should get a teething toy that you put in the freezer. then stick it in his mouth while hes happy, maybe that will prevent him screaming? lol idk, i dont have kids yet xD

    I wish I could offer advice, but I can relate since Abby has been acting the same way!  She won't even let me sit down while holding her, she screams and pulls up on my shoulders until I stand up.  I don't know what has gotten into her. 

    She is drooling a lot, but I can't believe she is cutting molars already, she has her 4 upper and lower teeth!
