I think I have another cold! I am so freaken sick of this. I hadn't been sick for over 2 years before I had DS. This sucks. (this is like the 4th time I have been sick since he was born!). BOOO

It's horrible, isn't it? I swear, the up multiple times a night kills your immunity and leaves you susceptible to everything little virus that comes down the pike.
It's partially what contributed to me hitting rock bottom and looking to start some sleep training. Being sick that much, it's really hard to be as good of a mom as I'd like to be.
Yeah, it really does suck and I haven't even gone back to work yet. I know I will be exposed to 80 bajillion germs there PLUS the germ mega fest that is daycare. I need my own personal bubble.

Ha! My H tried to be helpful and say that I should just take the vitamins/supplements he was taking. Um, that big warning that says "Not for Nursing Mothers" might mean that's a bad idea there.
Agreed. I'm getting over my 3rd sinus infection since the end of January. It's awful. DD is at DC and must be bringing home all sorts of germy goodies.
Side note: kari, you were going to the Nats game today, right? Did you stay for the extra innings? Was it completely awesome? I listened on the radio at my desk and lived vicariously through you.
I am so sorry and hope you are feeling better soon. I have come down with just about everything that DS has brought home from daycare so I know the feeling. This last one has hung on for 2.5 weeks now and I keep waking up in the middle of the night coughing my brains out so I am not getting much sleep either. I just keep reminding myself that all of the illnesses he is getting now just means the less that we will all be getting later!

Ha, I did go! I was going to page you tomorrow but I will just tell you now. So the game was kind of a fail. We took the metro and I brought DS in the ergo which was fine (and I think the best choice). He did so great UNTIL we got to the game and the first time people cheered he broked down sobbing. I figured maybe he was just hungry so I fed him inside but again major sobbing with the cheering. So essentially I had to stay inside the entire game and try to watch on a TV that is entirely too small!
At least I got to hang out with a ton of other parents doing the exact same thing ha ha. WE ended up leaving in the bottom of the 9th (partly because I am not feeling well and was bored sitting inside ha ha). I did manage to get nachos so at least there was that! So, I think we are going to wait until he is a bit older or go on a day when there are no so many people there so its not as loud.
At least I got this adorable picture!

Oh, boo to DS not liking the cheering. What a bummer! Glad to hear it worked out with the ergo though - that reaffirms my thought about the Beco when we go.
I figured you wouldn't have stayed for the extra innings - some people don't have the patience for extra innings even when healthy and without a crying infant.
But, hey, nachos, awesome! And adorable DS in Nats gear, also awesome!
Thanks for the update! (logging out to get DD now, so posting & running) ...
LO and I have been sick non stop this year since I went back to work around New Years and he went to daycare. I've missed so much work it's not funny. He was diagnosed with bronchiolitis about a month ago and he's still wheezing and on the nebulizer. This kid wheezes constantly since starting daycare, it makes me feel so guilty that he's in daycare at all :-/
