  It's rising and it seems reasonable to me.  The u/s is probably just a precaution to make sure the pregnancy is in the uterus.

  why in the world wouldn't they be happy with those numbers?  doubling range is 48-72 hours..and your second is 66.5 hours.  check it out doubling time calculator  seems good to me!

  I think so!  My numbers were low with my second pregnancy, but they did double and the RE didn't even do a 3rd beta.
