We made our first attempt at IUI this morning. Our RE is amazing, and told V that he would be honored if she would like to participate by depressing the syringe. Just such a sweet and thoughtful way to allow her to be a part of it. She also carried the specimen in her bra from the RE's labs (from thawing) to the RE's office (in the same building). She said that at least she had 'carried' the (potential) baby too. That got me all teary :)

 

All in all, it was a great experience for us. It was a great start to our journey. Even if we have to go through the process several times over (which I know is likely) I am so happy that today went the way it did. I wouldn't change a thing :)

 

Now for the tww - although, I feel really at peace with it today.
