Mabry/Mabrie?

What are your thoughts on the name Mabry/Mabrie/Maebry/Maebrie for a girl?

NN would be "Mae" to honor my DH's grandmother and middle names would be Ann Nicole.

What spelling do you like best? I think I like Mabrie Ann Nicole......

Did you make this up? It sounds like somebody got tongue tied and couldn't say "maybe". What about Mabel? Or just Mae?

I would say keep looking. Mabry (no matter how its spelled) is difficult on the eyes and challenging to say. May-Bree are not syllables that flow well together.

I would spell it Maebry, especially if you are using the nn Mae.

Where did you find Mabry? I like Mae as a stand alone name. There is no reason to lengthen it with some made up name.

I've only ever seen Mabry as a surname, so I think it could work IF it's a family name for you or DH. Mabrie is just ridiculous.

A girl I know from high school just named her daughter this. She spells it Maebry. I had never heard of it before, but if you're going to use the nn Mae I would use this spelling.

I can't wrap my head around this one as a fn. It is my LN! Our LN is spelled Mabry so this one makes the most sense to me. Although a lot of people mispronounce it and automatically say "May berry" or "Mah Bree" insteaad of "May bree" I'm not sure the Mabrie spelling will correct that, but it might be the best option.
