Tell me about your 2-week appt

I have my 2-week follow-up appt this Friday. I'm pretty sure I have MIL to watch my toddler, but there is a chance she'd be unavailable at the last minute due to an ill relative. I'd feel okay bringing both kids if my OB is just checking my incision, but not so much if it also involves a pelvic exam. 

What did your 2-week (or 1-week for some) appt involve?

    They just asked how I was and checked my incision. At 6wks pp I had an internal exam and blood work

    The nurses ooh-ed and aah-ed over the baby :) ... they took my weight and BP, the nurse removed my steri-strips and then the doc looked at the incision.  They asked about needing more meds.  I think in total I was there for 20 minutes.  It was a pretty easy appointment and fun to show DD off.  I had been going there every week for the last 2 months and got pretty close with the staff.

    It was easy, weight check, asked how I was, looked at incision, done. You could certainly bring both LOs along.

    I've never had a 2-week appt. I brought Lucas to my 6 week appt

    Just had my incision checked and she asked how I was doing, etc. No biggie!
