Anyone here doing at home artificial insemination?

My husband and I have been trying to conceive using at-home artificial insemination for 9 months now. A very good friend donates his sperm at every ovulation (he's a trooper). For the first 7 tries we used the syringe method. We got bored with that not working and so have tried the past two times using a Diva Cup. 

Still no luck but am waiting to test after the most recent try. Fingers crossed.

Is anyone else trying to conceive using artificial insemination at home? Has anyone had success? I would love to talk to someone who is/has been in the same frustrating boat.

    I have nothing. This reminds me of that creepy episode of 20/20 a while back..

    No never have but what do you think of this?

     already have a couple kids, but they were accidents. Now that I am married, we want to have a legit kid. So how often should I have sex. My husband wants to do it every day, but I said probably like 2-3 times a day, because that is what I did with both of my ex's that I have kids with. What do you do?

    "you want to have a legit kid". Wtf?  I am am a child of divorce and this *** pisses me off. A child is a child. I hope that your "non legit" kids don't know that you feel this way about them, IT HURTS.

    IUI #1- started 50ius of follistim 1/25, IUI 2/3/12 - BFN
    AMH-0.73- DOR 2/2012

    IUI #2- 3/17/12 started 200ius of Follistim , 3/24/12 added ganirelix, 225ius Follistim and 75ius of repronex, IUI- 3/30/12, Beta April 13, 2012-BFN

    Appointment with Dr. Schoolcraft at CCRM July 18, 2012
    WAITING ON A MIRACLE AT THIS POINT
    AMH tested again 1/2013- 1.4!!!!
    IUI #3- 1/14/13 started 200ius of Follistim, 1/20/13 added menopur and ganirelix, IUI 1/25/13. Positive HPT 2/6/13- Beta #1- 193- BFP!!! 2/8/13-Beta#2-426.6
    2/26 ultrasound #1- TWINS!
    Delivered a healthy beautiful baby boy on 10/17/13 10ls. 2 ounces

    TTC #2 
    AMH .75 VERY POOR RESPONDER
    IUI #4 cancelled due to only one egg responding 
    IUI#5 cancelled on CD 10,  (3) follicules were still very small even on 300 IU's of Follistim. Also found fluid in my uterus from C-section scar
    BFP- 8/9/15 
    Beta #1 8/10/15 13DPO-   9.2 (fingers crossed this sticks)
    Beta #2 8/12/15 15DPO   39- progesterone 18 
    Beta #3 8/14/15    111- progesterone 17.5
    Ultrasound August 31-

    Maybe you should try a turkey baster to help with the insemination!

    Hey, with the right mood lighting, a few scented candles, maybe a little Journey on in the background (Faithfully is a good one), I could probably get it on with a turkey baster.

    Me:29 DH:29  TTC since 1/11 Dx: unexplained IF/early DOR/immune issues 
    Feb'12- July'12-testing(all clear minus slight arcuate ute), 3 IUI with clomid all BFN
    8/30IVF#1 Antagonist protocol- ER 9/11-8R, 7M, 5F. 
    ET 9/14 2 embies transferred. 1 10cell Grade 4, 1 8cell Grade 4. No frosties. BFN
    IVF#2 Antagonist protocol plus baby aspirin- ER 12/5-16R, 12M, 8F!
    ET 12/10 5dt! 1 fully expanded blast & 1 early blast. No frosties. BFN
    3/13 hysteroscopy & polypectomy, Consulted w Dr. Kwak-Kim.  
    DX: High NK cells, cytokines, DHEAs& PAI1;  hypothyroid, +APA, restricted bloodflow
