solids boycott after being sick

My DS was sick this weekend and just started feeling better yesterday into today. He had the hand/foot virus, which I know affects their mouth. He has been sucking down his bottles but dosent seem to want his solids. He always loved his solids and would eat 3 times a day. I am not overally worried, I am just hoping he resumes to it soon. Has this ever happened to your LO and if so, did they eventually go back to their previous appetite?

    My son did this when he had a bad cold/teething (it was awful having both at once! no sleep for us!) and for a couple days later. But he was back to his normal routine within a week after being sick. It was just frustrating because I kept worrying he wasn't getting enough to eat.

    Yes, I agree about the bottle. I was just curious because he usually a great eater. Thanks!

    My LO did this and it lasted several weeks.  Absolute refusal to even open her mouth.  All of a sudden she just went back to eating about a week ago.
