At what age did you enter LO into preschool? TIA

Our speech therapist recommended preschool if we could find a program that would take him. So we got DS into a program in January. He was just under 2 1/2. We potty trained him just after his 2nd birthday, so I think they made a bit of an exception on his age. He goes 3, 1/2 days/week.

We are just looking into this aswell. We've been pressured to do it for a while though. DD will be 3 how far into 3 will depend on how many people are ahead of us on the list I guess....

My DD was 2 yrs. 3 months when she started in a 2 year old Jr. Preschool program at a Catholic school This year she's in the 3 year old preschool and next year she'll be in pre-k. They had to be 2 by Sept. 1st just like the cutoff for kindergartners and you could not enroll mid year.

My DS will start that same program this August and will be 2 yrs. 7 months (approx.).

The 2 program is 2 days a week from 9-11:30am. My DD goes 3 days a week from 9-11:30 and next year she'll go 5 days a week.

For the 2 day 2 year old program it's about $1900 and for the 3 class it's $2500. Next year, the 4 class will be $3800.
