I am 5 weeks and 4 days and my beta hit over 16,000 today. Both of my dogs are acting totally bizzare, well more bizzare than usual. Both of them keep trying to climb into my lap and one wont stop crying while he sits with me. Either an earthquake is coming or they know...Anyone else have dogs acting totally unusual this early?

Re: Are your dogs acting wacky?
OMG YES!!!!! More bizzare than usual.
My German Shep, Snickers is on my like glue. He is constantly whining around me, and is in my face. He knew I was pregnant even before I did! My Aussie just started to act crazy last week. DH tried to walk towards me to give me a kiss, and Scout leaped across my lap and was just staring at him.
They sleep virtually on top of my legs in bed, and when I am on the couch, they take turns sitting next to me. It is so funny. Snickers has stopped jumping on me, and he is real sweet, Scout just always has an eye on me, but keeps his distance.
I am so glad you posted this!
When I was pregnant with my daughter, my beagle would not leave me alone. He would sleep on my belly or right up against it. He was very protective and would patrol the house (I was home alone on bed rest most of my pregnancy).
When I had my son he could care less about me and what I was doing. No cuddles, nothing.
Found out a few weeks ago I'm pregnant with Bean 3.0 and guess who is all over me like white on rice in a snow storm. i can't wait until 20 weeks to see if it's another girl and that's why he's suddenly so interested in me again.
DD born 07.06.09 || DS born 01.24.11 || Bean 3.0 due 11.16.12
My cat (who is usually an independent one...doesn't care about being around people much) has been climbing on my lap, laying on my stomach, sleeping on or cuddled into my stomach and pawing at my stomach....kinda weird haha!
My dogs haven't done much but they seem to want my attention more than ever.
Yes! I don't have a dog, but I have two cats. Both of them sit right next to me or on my lap within seconds of sitting down. My DH thinks I'm crazy, but I swear they know something is up.
They did this when I was pregnant with DD also. I labored at home for most of my labor with her, and they followed me from room to room and just laid down quietly wherever I stopped for a contraction. I love my little fur babies!

Well, that was weird. Maybe it really was the earthquake. I have two cats and a dog. I have not noticed them acting any differently yet.
